The best and most positive way to move forward is to follows 3 simple steps: 

Step 1) focus on the future

Let yourself be guided and motivated by the future. Yes, like your are doing already, but then much more powerful. Focus on the proces towards your goal and create a realistic but powerful vision for the future that will help you through the most difficult times. â€‹

Take control!

It is very simple to just start moving forward, especially when you feel motivated. But your focus works as a navigation-system that changes destination every few seconds or minutes. Your motivation will change things and your focus will change with it. You will face obstacles and difficult moments and your focus will change with it. Unless, you make your focus as the most stable and reliable part of your journey. You control your focus, notthing else!

It is very natural to try to avoid or fight against obstacles, but this means that you sub-consciously hold on to those obstacles. Unknowingly you give them more control over your thoughts, feelings and actions.

 

Letting go of them on a mental and emotional level will help you to take back that control. Even though it stops you momentarily, you will experience that it becomes increasingly becomes easier to follow through.

Step 2) move forward

After doing this, you will know or understand what step you have to take forward. Take that step and continue just as long as you feel that there is something holding you back or making it difficult to continue. 

Step 3) let go of what stands in your way

How do you want to proceed?

Stop what you are doing and make sure you let go of that obstacle that is holding you back. You are letting go of this obstacle to create some mental, psychological and emotional distance
